BIO
David Goldsztajn Farelo, Ph.D., is a researcher and strategist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, education, and human behavior. As Assistant Director of AI and Education at Boston University, he focuses on how emerging technologies can be responsibly integrated into learning environments, with an emphasis on equity, access, and real-world impact. His work bridges research, program design, and evaluation, helping institutions translate complex systems into actionable, human-centered strategies.
With a background in experimental psychology, David brings over a decade of experience in research, youth development, and public health. He has led interdisciplinary initiatives that combine data analysis, curriculum development, and partnership building to address issues ranging from education innovation to social and behavioral change. His approach is grounded in rigorous inquiry and a commitment to designing systems that are both effective and inclusive.
David has taught at Boston University’s School of Social Work, where he led a course in research methods and supported global learning initiatives.
